The Geo Milev Museum House in Stara Zagora, Bulgaria, is presentable at the first glance but there are lots of details to be thought over, fixed or changed.

It was a good decision to place Milyo Kasabov's trade advertisement next to Geo Milev's Leipzig diploma because it was through Milyo's modest earnings that Geo managed to publish all his literary magazines. Due to Geo's avant-gardism, their return was not anything but insignificant.

This beautiful portrait by the famous Bulgarian artist Prof. Dechko Uzunov, painted in the 1970s, is specifically dear to me because I had the privilege to witness its birth in the artist's studio.

In Prof. Dechko Uzunov's studio I had the honor and priviledge to watch him painting Geo Milev's portrait. Now this portrait is on display in the Geo Milev Museum House in Stara Zagora. Posted by Picasa

As I mentioned in my remark about the outside appearance of the Geo Milev Museum House, the changes that should be made there got me really preoccupied.

Violeta and I are taking a short rest under the vine-arbor in the best kept part of the Museum - the yard, which is practically the same as it was in Milyo's time.

The children's drawings hung on two side-walls are really a very good idea.

Personally I never forget how young my grandfather Geo began drawing. His famous take-off of Prince Ferdinand, shown in this photo, seems to have come from the hand of a mature fellow, but Geo drew it when he was only 12. The drawing is on the inside of a cupboard door.
